INN 136 at Heart and Soul is a unique Inn situated on a quiet street in a Victorian home built in 1906 in Canada’s most southern town. The home, originally built in 1906, was totally rebuilt in 2013 and fully upgraded merging the warmth and charm of a Victorian home with modern conveniences. The owners spared no expense in rebuilding the home to create a truly unique modern Victorian home, with a vision that it be a beautiful and tranquil place for travelers to go back in time without missing the conveniences of modern-day life.
Guests can bask in the warmth of the old stained glass windows and solid oak woodwork made by master craftsman more than a century ago. Guests can enjoy the many common spaces like the wrap-around porch with hand carved rocking chairs, relaxing living room with fireplace, and the modern kitchen (all appliance are open to guests except the oven/stove, for safety purposes). The Heart and Soul Inn sits near the center of town, close to restaurants including Jack’s Gastropub, many wineries, breweries, parks and only a short walk to Lake Erie. The Inn is operated by Distinctive Inns of Kingsville (15 Main Street East), where guests check in for their stay.
